Public Notice regarding Consular Services

 

1.   The Consulate will accept online applications for OCI, Renunciation of Indian Citizenship, Passport, GEP and PCC(Indian Nationals Only) onlythrough the Service Provider, VFS Global. Applicantswould need to complete the applications on their website and send duly filled applications by post to the address given below:

(For above services, VFS has also commenced limited in-person appointments from July 15, 2021 as per details on the above website of VFS)

 

2. Visas: All existing valid visas (except e- Visa, tourist visa and medical visa)stand restored with effect from 21 October 2020.Applicants for Emergency entry visa and other currently eligible categories [Business, Employment and Medical] allowed to travel to India are requested to send the applications along with documents to the consulate by post following the procedure given at:

All visa applications need to be filled online at : https://indianvisaonline.gov.in

           E-Visa:From 30 March, 2021, E-Visa has been re-opened for certain categories only (Business, Medical, Conference), the details of which are available at:

[ Please note that theConsulate  does not process the e-visas ].

 

3.  Miscellaneous Consular Services:Request for Miscellaneous services [Attestation, Power of Attorney, PCC (Foreigners only) etc.] can be sent to the Consulate only through regular Post/ Mail.  4. OCI: Rules for reissuance of OCI has been relaxed/ waived as below:

  • Person registered as OCI cardholder before age of 20 needs reissuance only once after crossing the age of 20
  • Person registered as OCI cardholder after the age of 20 do not need reissuance

However, certain documents would be needed to be uploaded from time to time as per details at :
