Owing to the growing spread of COVID19, it has been decided to stop the walk-in Miscellaneous Consular Services at the Consulate General of India, Houston with effect from March 16, 2020. The services will continue to be provided through Postal mail/shipping.

POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE FOREIGN NATIONALS

Applicants with foreign passports (other than Indian passport) applying for PCC may provide complete details of their stay in India, including date/month/year of their stay with complete residential/official addresses.

Only the resident of US states of Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Kansas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas may apply in Consulate General of India, Houston.

How to Apply

  1. 1. Download the Miscellaneous Application form and fill it up carefully. Each applicant is required to fill up separate Miscellaneous Application form and affix his/her photograph on the same
  1. 2. Applicant’s notarized copies of current valid passport and the document showing valid US STAY PERMITS (for non US nationals).
  1. 3. Applicant may indicate the period of stay in India for which PCC is requested and providing copy of the Indian Visa during the period.
  1. 4. Notarized copy of the following documents as proof of residence: US Driving License, Utility Bill, Lease Agreement, State Identity Card, or Mortgage Deed.
  1. 5. Send in the filled-up application set enclosing a trackable pre-paid self-addressed return mailing envelope. Incomplete applications will be sent back, indicating the requisites to complete the application.
  1. 6. Personal checks, Debit cards and Credit cards are not accepted.
  1. 7. If application is being sent by post please sent a separate $20/- cashier’s check or money order fee for return mail. No prepaid envelopes are accepted

Fee:  A fee of $40.00(Forty Only) and an additional fee of US$2.00 (Two Only) to be added towards Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF) per application. The fees may be paid in cash or as two separate money order/cashiers’ cheque, drawn separately towards fee and ICWF, in favor of Consulate General of India, Houston.

Incomplete applications will be sent back, indicating the requisites to complete the application.
